Holistic business consultancy, theory, workshops and book

A quiet storm of a book by Michael Artis, Marketing Consultant
The greatest thing about this book, is how the power of its content is delivered so lightly and unassumingly. Months on, the simplicity of the lead ideas I still carry with me.  In his text, Richard Mott challenges the status quo about how business is approached, managed and led. The narrative is full of case examples that help reinforce Mott’s call for (at many times) a more radical approach to business thinking and leadership.  And this is the point: The re-thinking is not about following the classic ego-driven, male-dominated perspective that many still proclaim, but more of an enlightened perspective that considers the Head, Heart and Gut – the knowledge, emotion and intuition.  The beauty of the work is to understand the fragility of the ideas Richard Mott champions. Ideas that are not fragile because they are weak, but fragile because the unenlightened majority can still trample over them; it is only when more holistic behaviours are encouraged and become the dominant force, will business and customer worlds be better places for us all to enjoy.  An interesting perspective for what I hope will lead to tomorrow’s marketplace – or at least, the source of competitive advantage for today’s!

A real guide to new leadership by G. D. Watkins, Business Consultant
A rare practical book that explores and guides the reader in what all successful leaders do – combine heart, mind and ‘gut feel’ to inspire their teams and scale business.

An inspiration by Karen Downes, Management Consultant
This book is both inspiring and practical in confronting the dilemma leaders face in dealing with the challenges of our world and the complexities of business. Head, heart and spirit are all needed for sustained energy to lead in these times. This book provides a practical approach for holistic leadership, no longer a nice idea but a business requirement.

Saying Hi to Hara by Tom Evans, author of “This We Know” & “Flavours of Thought”
They say the difference between billionaires and millionaires is the ability of the former to tune into their gut.  This book is the instruction manual of how to do this whilst also keeping your head and heart in the loop. What’s more the book is a pointer to how to be an ’emotional billionaire’.  Like the author, I am a refugee from the corporate world. If I was ever to get a ‘real’ job again, I want to work with a company that embraces the principles outlined in this fabulous book.
